Still Reading Reviews by Hand? Surface Themes First

Support tickets, app store reviews, NPS replies, and email threads pile up. Reading that pile by hand is how yesterday's loudest note sets next week's work.

AI can surface themes and sentiment across a text dump when you use a tool that takes that file. You still decide which issues to prioritize.

AgentLeverage does not ship a live Customer Feedback Analyzer. Ticket, NPS, and survey CSV theming is still not a live product.

If the source is competitor, G2, Capterra, or app-store reviews (a pasted corpus, or review page URLs we can fetch), use Review VOC Pack. Guest runs are free (5/day). You get clustered pain themes with cited quotes. You still verify quotes. G2, Capterra, and Trustpilot pages are not fetched; paste those reviews.

If the source is sales-call notes, a support-call transcript, or a churn interview you already have as text, recap that first. Meeting Summarizer guest runs are free (5/day). You still decide.

If yesterday's angry ticket is still setting the roadmap: why recency wins, and how to recap call notes first

What AI feedback analysis is

AI feedback analysis uses language models to:

  • Categorize items by topic (billing, usability, performance)
  • Tag sentiment — positive, negative, neutral
  • Group related wording even when customers use different phrases
  • Rank by volume so the common theme beats the loudest ticket
  • Quote verbatims so you read the words, not only the label

The output is a first pass. You still merge themes that should be combined, split themes that are too broad, and pick what ships.

Ticket and NPS CSV theming is not a live AgentLeverage product. Review dumps go to Review VOC Pack. Do not treat this page as a CTA for Feedback Analyzer.

Review dump vs call notes

| Source | What you want | Live on AgentLeverage | | --- | --- | --- | | G2, Capterra, app-store, or other review corpus / page URLs | Clustered pain themes with cited quotes | Yes. Review VOC Pack. Guest 5/day. Paste G2, Capterra, and Trustpilot text. You still verify quotes. | | Ticket, NPS, or survey CSV | Themes, sentiment, volume rank | No. Customer Feedback Analyzer is not a live tool. You still theme those rows yourself. | | Call notes or a transcript | Recap, decisions, owners, action items | Yes. Meeting Summarizer returns those fields. You still review. |

If you only have a ticket or NPS export, keep theming it in your sheet or research tool. Review dumps go to VOC Pack. Browse the live catalog if you need a different job.

If the pile is G2, Capterra, or app-store reviews rather than tickets: how to turn those reviews into VOC themes

How to analyze customer feedback with AI

1. Collect the file you actually have

Export from wherever the text lives:

  • App store reviews — developer console
  • Support tickets — Zendesk, Intercom, or Freshdesk as CSV
  • NPS/CSAT replies — Delighted, Typeform, or SurveyMonkey
  • Call notes — your doc, or a transcript export (TXT, DOCX, VTT, SRT)

Do not mix a review CSV and a call transcript into one upload and expect one tool to handle both.

2. Recap the notes or transcript you can run here

Open Meeting Summarizer. Paste the notes or upload TXT, DOCX, VTT, or SRT. You get a recap, decisions, owners, and action items when those were said.

Guest runs are free (5/day). Meeting Summarizer does not transcribe audio. It does not join Zoom or Meet. It does not ingest a review CSV.

If the file is the recording and it still says Speaker 1, Speaker Separation labels each voice. Guest runs are free (2/day). You rename Speaker 1 and review overlapping turns.

If the call just ended and action items are still in someone's head: how to recap notes or a transcript

3. Theme the review dump, or walk the ticket CSV yourself

For competitor or app-store reviews, paste the corpus into Review VOC Pack. Read the themes and the cited quotes, then verify the quotes against the source.

For a ticket, NPS, or survey CSV, Customer Feedback Analyzer is not live. Walk the rows in your sheet or research tool:

  • Merge labels that mean the same thing
  • Split a bucket that hides two problems
  • Read the verbatim, not only the count

You still decide whether pricing language, a bug, or a missing feature is the thing to ship.

4. Drill into the negatives in the source

Do not stop at the label. Open the actual words customers used. That language is what you put in the changelog, the FAQ, or the next launch email.

5. Share findings and assign the work

The recap or the themed sheet is only useful if someone owns the next step:

  • Product gets feature requests and bugs you already validated
  • Marketing gets the phrasing customers use
  • Support gets the friction you will acknowledge
  • Engineering gets the performance complaints with the quote attached

You still assign the work. A recap does not create the ticket.

What to do with themed feedback

The analysis is only valuable if it drives a decision.

Pricing language keeps showing up? Add an FAQ that answers the objection. Do not invent a discount from a theme count.

Lots of "I wish it could…"? Put the common request on a public roadmap, or say no. Use their wording in the launch note if you ship it.

The same bug across many tickets? File one internal ticket with the quotes attached. Update the status page if it is already known.

None of those steps require a live Feedback Analyzer. They require you to read the source after the first pass.

What you still review

  • Theme labels that grouped two different problems
  • Sentiment tags on sarcastic or mixed replies
  • Owners and dates on a Meeting Summarizer recap
  • Every prioritization call. Frequency is not a ship decision.

Do not treat a recap as a themed review report.

Industry use cases (honest scope)

Product. Recap planning-cycle interviews or sales-call notes. You still theme the ticket export yourself.

Customer success. Recap a churn or QBR call. Patterns in tickets still live in your help desk.

Marketing. Mine phrasing from quotes you already collected. We do not scrape stores or social for you.

Operations. If the same onboarding step shows up in call notes, the recap can surface it. You still fix the step.

What to check before you pick a tool

Does it take the file you have? A review CSV is not call notes.

Do you still review? Clustering is imperfect. You still merge and split themes yourself.

What happens to the file? We do not train on your data. Signed-in jobs stay until you delete them. Guest results expire after 7 days.
