Still Skimming G2 by Hand? Cluster VOC Themes First
AgentLeverage Team
9/22/2026
You open a competitor's G2 page, copy the one-star quotes into a doc, and try to remember which complaint showed up more than once. Capterra threads and app-store reviews pile up the same way. The loudest review still wins the next sprint.
A voice-of-customer pass from those reviews is a first pass on the pile: clustered pain themes with cited quotes. You still verify each quote against the source, then you decide what ships.
The live path is Review VOC Pack. Paste a review corpus, or paste review page URLs. A run returns clustered pain themes with citations. Guest runs are free (5/day). Signed-in orgs spend 2 credits per request. You still verify quotes before a slide or a PRD.
G2, Capterra, and Trustpilot pages are not fetched. Paste those reviews. Other page URLs are fetched only when robots.txt allows it.

What Review VOC Pack actually returns
Review VOC Pack takes the reviews you already have. A run returns:
- Pain themes: a name, a high / medium / low severity label, and a count from the reviews you supplied
- Cited quotes on each theme: the quote text, plus a source URL and rating when those were in the input
- Feature gaps and positioning hooks pulled from the same set
- Warnings, when the run needs them, and a disclaimer that themes are synthesized from the reviews you supplied
That is a first pass on the corpus you fed. It is not a ticket CSV theming run, and it is not a ship decision.
Guest runs are free (5/day). Signed-in orgs spend 2 credits per request.
How to turn G2, Capterra, and app reviews into VOC themes
- Collect the reviews you already have. Copy G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, or app-store text into one dump (one review per paragraph, or a JSON array of text, url, and rating). Keep the source URL next to each review when you have it. For a public page that is not an aggregator, you can paste the URL instead; we fetch it only when robots.txt allows it.
- Open Review VOC Pack. Paste the corpus. Add URLs if you have pages we can fetch. You can leave focus on any theme, or narrow to pricing, support, bugs, or other.
- Read the clustered pain themes and the quotes attached to each one. Note the severity label and the count. Those are model labels on the text you fed.
- Open the original review and check every quote you would repeat. Wrong quotes, paraphrases, and mixed themes show up. Fix or drop them.
- You still decide what ships. Frequency is not a roadmap vote. A cited complaint can be real and still not be the next sprint.
You can run another corpus after that. You still write the note you send.
This helps when the pile is competitor or app reviews and you want a structured pass before you spend the full read. It does not watch G2 for you, and it does not replace the read on anything you are about to publish.
Review corpus vs ticket CSV vs call notes
Three different jobs get sold as "AI feedback analysis":
| Source | What you want | Live on AgentLeverage | | --- | --- | --- | | G2, Capterra, app-store, or other review corpus / page URLs | Clustered pain themes with cited quotes | Yes. Review VOC Pack. Guest 5/day. Paste G2, Capterra, and Trustpilot text. You still verify quotes. | | Ticket, NPS, or survey CSV | Themes by frequency, sentiment rollups | No. Customer Feedback Analyzer is not a live tool. You still theme those rows yourself. | | Call notes or a transcript | Recap, decisions, owners, action items | Yes. Meeting Summarizer returns those fields. You still review. |
Do not mix a Zendesk export and a G2 dump into one upload and expect one tool to handle both.
If the pile is tickets, NPS replies, and reviews mixed together: how to split that pile, and what is live for each source
What we do not do
Review VOC Pack is not a review-site scraper and not a research interview.
- Fetch G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, or similar aggregator pages
- Theme a ticket, NPS, or survey CSV
- Join your help desk, or pull new reviews on a schedule
- Replace customer interviews, sales calls, or win/loss notes
- Guarantee that a quote is verbatim, or that two themes should stay split
- Tell you what to ship, price, or put on the roadmap
Customer Feedback Analyzer is not a live AgentLeverage tool. Ticket and NPS CSV theming is still the work you do in your sheet or research tool.
What you still verify
Quotes. Themes are synthesized from the reviews you supplied. A quote can be paraphrased, truncated, or attached to the wrong theme. Check it against the source before it goes in a slide or a PRD.
Counts and severity. Those are labels on this run, not a census of the market. A high-severity theme with two quotes is not "the market."
What to do next. Cited pain is not a ship decision. You still decide whether to ignore it, file it, or write someone.
You still review the output. Guest "Free" is the daily quota. After that, signed-in orgs spend 2 credits per request. Start with 30 free credits on signup. Unused included credits do not carry forward. Pack credits never expire. We do not train on your data. Signed-in jobs stay until you delete them. Guest results expire after 7 days.
How to try it on a review dump
You do not need an account to test a first pass.
- Copy a handful of competitor or app reviews you were going to skim anyway (G2, Capterra, or the store listing)
- Paste the text into Review VOC Pack
- Read the themes and the quotes on each one
- Open the original reviews and check any quote you would repeat
- You still decide whether that pass was enough, and what ships
Guest runs are free (5/day). No account for a trial run. Sign in if you want the job kept in a workspace. Signed-in runs cost 2 credits per request. Start with 30 free credits. Pack credits never expire. Unused included credits do not carry forward.
