Credits & billing
How credits work, what each tool costs, and how to check your balance, upgrade, or top up.
Credits are how you pay for tool runs on AgentLeverage. Each account has a credit balance, and most tools spend a few credits per run. Paid plans refresh your included credits each billing period; free orgs receive a one-time starting allowance. You can always see your current numbers on the billing page — that's the source of truth if anything here and the app ever disagree.
What each tool costs
You're charged credits only when a run happens. Costs are small and predictable:

The exact cost is shown on every tool's card and page before you run it. One add-on is charged separately: AI Inspector's optional per-session dossier costs 3 credits on top of the inspection, and only when you ask for it.
Where credits come from
Credits reach your account two ways.
Your monthly plan
Every account is on a plan:

New accounts start on Free, no credit card required. Paid plans refresh included credits when Stripe processes each renewal (invoice.paid); your used count resets and unused included credits do not carry forward. One-time credit packs never expire. Paid plans also add:
- A 7-day free trial on every paid checkout.
- Yearly billing saves roughly 17% versus paying monthly.
- Priority support on Pro; email support on Starter.
Every tool is available on every plan, including Free — plans differ by how many credits you get and whether they refresh. A few extras are paid-plan only: exporting your Job History to CSV and comparing two job runs side by side (see Jobs & files).

One-time credit packs
You can also buy a one-time pack without changing your plan. It adds credits to your balance right away:

Checking your balance and usage
- Settings → Billing — your current balance, which plan you're on, how much of this period's credits you've used, and where to upgrade or buy a pack.
- Usage history — credits used over time, a breakdown by tool, your most-used tools, and a full transaction history.
Running low
You can set a low-credit alert on the billing page so you get a warning banner before you run out. When your credits run low, you have two options: upgrade to a plan with a bigger monthly allowance, or buy a one-time pack. There's no surprise overage billing — if your balance reaches zero, tool runs pause until you top up. One-time pack credits never expire.
Cancelling
Paid plans are month-to-month with no lock-in — cancel anytime from the billing page. If you cancel, you drop back to the free plan at the end of your current period.
